Dictionary defines a country as a tract of land considered apart from any geographical or political limits; region; district or any considerable territory demarcated by topographical conditions, by a distinctive population, etc. A Country not just that it is a “BRAND” build with efforts by the people of the nation and the geography. An effort is made here to collect data from various nations and the brands and companies which originate from these countries and have spread across the globe.
The number of countries in the world is very uncertain as every different organization lists different number of countries. But the majority accept that there are 196 countries in the world today. Taiwan is not considered an official country by many, which would bring the count down to 195 countries. Although Taiwan operates as an independent country, many countries (including the U.S.) do not officially recognize it as one.
